Working Together.

Initial Meeting

We love to kick things off with a meet and greet in person whenever possible. The initial meeting is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, hear about your relationship and discuss your vision for your wedding day. You can look through various samples of our work, and we will begin to understand what's important to you, timeline, budget, and so on. It’s important to us that we both share the same vision for your wedding so that we can create photographs that are a reflection of your relationship.

Schedule & Details

As we work together to prepare for your big day, we send you a detailed wedding worksheet which we use to help will finalize the timeline, schedule and plan out all of our photo locations. We encourage you to fill out a family portrait list and tell us about any specific photo requests you may have for your wedding so we don’t miss anything, and can properly address family by their first names.

Getting Ready

We love to start the day with the getting ready process. There are so many amazing moments filled with anticipation and excitement, having fun with your bridal party, and of course all the details of your dress, shoes, hair, jewelry, flowers and make-up.  As a husband-and-wife team, you have the option of who goes with the bride and who goes with the groom - we're not shy! We like to arrive about thirty minutes to one hour before you put on your dress.

First Look & Couple Photos

A personal but important decision is if you want to see each other for the first time prior to the ceremony. If you decide to do so, we will pick a beautiful location for your first look, and document this very special moment on your wedding day. A great feature of doing a first look is we can continue with photographs of just two of you in various locations before your wedding officially begins, and giving you both some time alone.  You will also be able to enjoy the cocktail hour and reception without being pulled away for photos.

Bridal Party

We want you and the entire bridal party to have a good time, be yourselves and enjoy the moment. We want you to feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, so we will never make you look artificially posed or awkward in photos. During the timeline process, we will walk through your desired bridal party images and groupings.

Ceremony

Th e big moment! The ceremony is the most emotional point of your wedding and we don't wan to miss a detail! Having two photographers will allow us to capture all these moments from various angles, as well capture the emotions of your guests.  We also use a variety of lenses and lighting techniques to be as stealthy as possible.

Family Portraits

Prior to  wedding day,  our wedding worksheet has a space to list all your desired family shots and pairings. We will come up with a time and location together in advance so you can notify your family when and where these portraits will take place. Although this is the part of the day that is considered more "posed", we still have a lot of fun!

Cocktail Hour & Details

We use this time for one photographer to capture cocktail hour with a blend of candid photos and portraits. This is a great opportunity for us to snap your family and friends mingling, laughing, chatting and hanging out. The other photographer will use this time to get the reception details before guests enter the space.

Reception

It's time to party! As the dancing begins, speeches, cake cutting and surprise crazy and funny moments, we're there to capture it all! We work together to understand which special or surprise moments you are planning at the reception and put together a timeline and coverage to capture it all.

After The Wedding

Time, attention and love are devoted to processing and editing each and every one of your photographs.  All of your photographs are organized and categorized into folders of the day as the day unfolds ie. ‘Getting Ready’, ‘Ceremony’ etc. and uploaded to a digital gallery for download. We also go through all of the photographs and hand select our favorite images, and create a "sneak peek" blog so you can get a glimpse at the photos while the editing process takes place. For clients who choose albums, we work together to incorporate your favorites into a beautiful custom design.
