It’s honestly thrilling for us when we can get to know the family and couple throughout the wedding planning process. Erica’s mom came to us via a recommendation from a fave planner, and once they settled on the gorgeous Pearl S. Buck house, we were off the races with planning. When we did Erica and Raffi’s engagement session at the shore and she asked to get in the water at the end, we knew we’d have a ton of fun on wedding day too. We were right.

Although Erica and Raffi were not blessed with sun on wedding day, we still made it work. After getting ready at a nearby hotel, we all met up at the venue for a fun first look, some rainy portraits and a LOT of family pictures. And then as the traditions kicked off, we had an incredible time capturing everything that just makes Jewish weddings so special. From the Tisch, to the Bedeken, and finally the ceremony — love and joy oozed everywhere as friends and family celebrated the couple. This of course made for a bangin’ reception, and as the horah dances commenced, we don’t think anyone was sitting down.

Erica and Raffi were troopers through the end, singing each other a Meatloaf song before we snuck out to the wet grass for a night portrait. Congrats, you two!
