Lavish Lebanese Wedding at PAFA - Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Wedding

Any time there’s a wedding at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, you’re in a for a treat.

We met Rim and Kyle by way of good luck. She entered a contest on Philly in Love to win a photo + video package, and well, she won! It’s no secret that PAFA is a preferred venue of ours - it’s incredibly unique, perfectly located and offers endless photo ops.

When the big day rolled around, Rim and Kyle found a killer Airbnb with stunning views of city hall. The girls had a great time getting dolled up in their matching robes, while Kyle and his guys got in several rounds of Super Smash Bros. before getting into their tuxes.

Rim and Kyle opted to do their first look on the roof of the Airbnb, which provided perfect light and backdrop for their first time seeing each other in wedding gear. Rim was a vision and Kyle’s reaction tells it all. The views of City Hall were breathtaking, and we loved this different angle from Broad Street.

However, we still made a stop at Broad Street, en route to PAFA for classic Philly portraits. Then we took over the venue, hitting every nook and cranny possible for portraits: the grand staircase, the galleries, and of course the large painting installments.

The ceremony set up was perfect. Rim and Kyle’s bridal party aligned the stairs and Kyle waited for her father to hand her off. The ceremony was short and sweet, but the couple was ready to get their party started.

We love cocktail hour at PAFA. It’s space in the grand atrium leaves a lot of room for movement but also great pictures. Kyle and Rim snuck out for some alone time, and last minute first dance prep, before making their big entrance. After a very sweet first dance, Rim and Kyle surprised their guests with a Lebanese dance performance that immediately had everyone on the dance floor. The energy was amazing, and carried over to our photo booth that was used non-stop! The couple partied the night away at PAFA, before heading the to the Aloft hotel for the after party.
